Will be an interesting season for the "we don't need an ace" Boston Red Sox. But like most everyone else, I'm optimistic. In 2015, the Red Sox are due to win the AL East and perhaps the World Series as I detect a pattern: 2012 (last) --> 2013 (first and WS champs) --> 2014 (last).

They have Billy "Country Breakfast" Butler this year. Billy's FIL sells us packaging so we hear a lot about Billy and what's going on with him.

The cubs are the 4th best team in their division. It would take a small miracle for them to make the playoffs, let alone win their division.

BTW, is Mark Grace dead? Our MG, not the one who used to play for the Cubs.

The Tigers look very similar to last year. The offense will get some help with the Cespedes trade and Castellanos not being a rookie. Need to get Miggy and VMart healthy obviously, but initial reports are promising. The defense will be what it was, with the exception of Iglesias returning back at SS, which will be huge. The rotation is still strong, provided Verlander is healthy. Price will be good. Greene/Sanchez/Simon is a solid back 1/2 of rotation. The bullpen does not look to be a strength, but Joe Nathan is reportedly healthy again. Hopefully the bullpen is just average. The rest of the AL Central looks tough though. White Sox will be much better, Indians are dangerous, Royals will be decent.

My NL team is the Braves. This year is a total write-off, probably next year too.
