Assuming the Colts hold on, they will have beaten the Niners, Seahawks and Broncos who have a combined record of 17-1 in their other games outside of their games against Indy. And that one loss was the Niners to the Seahawks.

The o-line does look bad tonight along with the defense in general. I think the defensive problems go back to that Dallas game. A game like that exposes all your flaws and the rest of the league picks up on it. The Niners had that game in New England last year where Brady made that crazy comeback but the Niners barely won in the end. The defense never looked the same after that and part of it was Justin Smith being hurt and the other part was it totally exposed all the problems in the secondary.Originally posted by The_Douger View PostI think Manning is just having his yearly choke job when he gets nervous.
Denver's had big problems on the offensive line as well, and it shows tonight.

Are NFL defenses starting to figure out the Bronco offense? I missed the first half, but have seen the two 3 and outs in the second half and the Bronco's weren't close to getting first downs. On this last drive on 3rd and 5, Manning throws a difficult pass to a guy who was double covered with a third guy coming over - the play had no chance. Manning, on 3rd and 5, has been automatic for the most part this season.

I just like watching Belicheck's face when they lose. He always looks like he just had a big old bite of turd sandwich.

I think he had a good year once. And he's been living off that year for about 10 years now it seems.Originally posted by Color Me Badd Fan View PostI'm amazed that Palmer doesn't throw even more picks. He's horrible.

I went 6-8 last week, I didn't make a pick before the Thursday night game. These picks are therefore worse than free.
Anyway, my week 7 picks, home teams in bold.
Seattle (-7) over Arizona -- I may regret this pick, I want to pick Arizona to at least cover because it's a Thursday night game and Arizona has a pretty good defense. On the other hand it's Carson Palmer vs. that Seattle secondary. But, quite honestly, I'm picking Seattle because if I'm wrong then I'll be even more happy.
Falcons (-7) over Bucs -- The Bucs are a trainwreck and at the point where they quit on their coach. Atlanta is coming off a bye.
Panthers (-6) over Rams -- I don't see how the Rams move the ball against the Panthers.
Bengals over Lions (-3) -- The hardest game to pick this week. I'm just trying to avoid picking a disproportionate number of home teams from covering.
Chargers (-9) over Jaguars
Dolphins (-7.5) over Bills
Patriots (-3.5) over Jets
Cowboys over Eagles (-3)
Bears over Redskins (-1) -- Why are the Redskins favored at all in this game? Washington would be winless had Terrel Pryor been healthy for the Raiders. The Bears just came off a pseudo-bye.
Titans over 49ers (-4.5)
Chiefs (-7) over Texans
Packers (-10) over Browns
Steelers (-1) over Ravens -- Shockingly, I don't think the Steelers have given up on the season
Broncos (-7) over Colts
Giants (-3.5) over Vikings -- The NFC East= the 2010 NFC West. The division is a mess. To get to 7-9 the Giants would have to go 7-3. They have six home games and four road games left. They're a trainwreck right now, but the hated Giants get on these two hot streaks and have the luckiest QB in the NFL.
I picked eight home teams to cover vs. seven road teams. I'm the most confident in the Panthers, Patriots and Falcons covering. I want to be confident in the Packers over the Browns but their receivers have been hammered this year. The Packers will win and probably by 10 or more, but I'm not sure about that at all. I like the Chiefs a lot, their secondary is going to eat Yates alive. But is the team super pissed because of the cheering for Schaub's injury, do the Texans have their best week of practice all year?
