    • Lillard with 21 and 7 in his 2nd game. Durant with 17 boards in that game. That is one area I've been waiting for Durant to take a huge step forward. OKC should absolutely kill teams on the glass with the starting five they have. Last year they were 23rd in team DRB%.

But remember, you can't build around that guy.

Haha. It has been two games. He is going to get some nice stats but they are not going anywhere.

          • It's fun watching AK in the League again. 17, 6, 3 and 3 through three quarters against Toronto. Also, I'm impressed with Derozan's demeanor- when he makes a big shot or play, he acts like he's been there.

            • AK's a great player.

Too bad Jerry Sloan was too uninventive to use him appropriately.

              • Rodney Stuckey has started the season making 1 out of his first 23 FGAs. One.

Makes me laugh when I think about how often his name was mentioned in trades and Dumars' essentially labeling him as an untouchable.

                    • Many within NBA circles believe it’s only a matter of time before Brown is fired. Jerry Sloan and Mike D’Antoni are two names that have surfaced as possible replacements for Brown.

“Jerry Sloan to L.A. by December 1,” one league source predicted. “Nash and Howard are the new Stockton and Malone. He wants a ring, not to mention the money. He didn’t seriously consider Orlando, Charlotte or Portland [openings] over the summer because he knew Los Angeles would open up.”

                      Just can't see that happening.

                            • So an undisclosed NBA team has been meeting with the governor here in VA and also the city officials from VA Beach. VA Beach has proposed a $350 million dollar arena. Comcast is involved as a partner and it would go next to the convention center there. Though the NBA team hasn't been officially disclosed, the Kings are the team tied to the move. Jimmer could come to VA baby!

There are a lot of folks in that area, but I still wonder how well they could support a franchise. Probably better than Sacramento.

                              • That seems like too small of a market.

I think Seattle should get a team back before any other cities get expanded in to.
