Athanasiou on waivers is surprising. I'm not sure he gets picked up and it just clears the way to assign him to Rockford. He has really sucked this year.

It has been a rough year so far for Bedard. Even when he is getting chances, they are not going in. I hope he doesn't get too frustrated with this and that it doesn't impact his development.

Still not lighting the lamp, but nice to see a couple of assists for Bedard. Maybe Dickinson and Anderson is the way to go for his line.

I thought the Blackhawks would be better this year, but I was wrong. They are actually worse this year.

The offseason signings in general were terrible. I'm happy with Teuvo and that is about it. Bertuzzi has been okay.

The veterans that were supposed to help have been terrible. Sadly, I'm not sure any of these players are tradeable at the deadline.

Blackhawks may end up worse than the Sharks.

I think Bedard's move to winger may end up being permanent in his career. It would be nice to see him start scoring. This season has really been awful. Worse than last season. Time to start trading players and bringing up players from Rockford.
