I watched the end of the 10th and the extra end for Canada online.

It was an exciting finish. Norway didn't make it easy.

Shuster is too soft. The Norwegians are going to eat him alive!

Yeah, not looking good for the US.

Looks like Canada is just trying to ride the hammer to the end.

No #$%@. It's like they don't want to win.

I think in the Olympics there are 10 ends, teams often concede before 10 though.

Seems like the US is holding serve with Germany. They just force Germany to take one point in the latest end. That is a good sign.

Canada had a big lead but gave in up in one end to Norway.

I'll have to catch that episode. That sounds cool.

One cool thing with my work, is my boss spent some time up in Montreal and grew to like curling. So it is one thing we are able to talk about.

A friend and I tried out for the curling team in High school just for fun in grade 11 ("junior year" for you Yankees). We made the team and had a good time playing that year and in grade 12. We had never played before, and I haven't played since.

If we ever have a get together in Wyoming, I'm looking to play some ends with Landpoke.

The Simpsons had a better than average episode Sunday that featured Homer and Marge as Olympic curling contestants. It was the perfect sport for them, "Bowling for Homer and sweeping for Marge," although it took Homer awhile to figure out why all the participants were "cleaning the ice."
