I'm watching the US men's for the first time tonight.
Shuster is horrible.
He was just trying to bump one of his stones back in to take out a Chinese stone and he completely missed the first stone in the sequence.
He is horrible.
When you are bumping stones, you put more weight on them and they don't curl as much, so setting up the lines is much easier. There really is no way he should have missed that first stone.

Bo Jr plays on a curling team at the Olympic Ice Oval on Thursday nights. It's been fun to go watch. They medaled last season, but last night were eliminated from medal contention. Their skip has really been struggling.Comment

Hey there's something new on here after all these years. Curling's a blast. We had a team in a local league before COVID. But since my brother died it's been hard to get the 'band' back together. I wonder if my SIL would even want to do it. Fun way to spend a couple of hours. In this league the winning team buys the losers drinks."...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. He plays with other cops he works with. Not sure what nights leagues play there, but next season they're fielding two teams to play on Monday and Thursday nights. Everyone looks like they're having a good time. I'm not sure how long most have been playing, but I'm guessing not a super long time.Originally posted by beefytee View PostComment
