    Jason Kidd has to go.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Holy cow. I watched a few minutes of HORSE. That was absolutely awful.

It MIGHT be interesting if they don't spread it over an hour. Just let the dudes go have fun, shot after shot. That was boooooring.

It actually got fun when they went to sudden death and were just jacking up threes - and not missing.

How did I never know Nate Robinson played football at Washington?

Maybe they shouldn't have let Shannon Brown dunk.

                Shannon Brown was terrible.

                That dunk contest was terrible.

There are no new dunks. The only thing now are the props.....capes, phone booths, forklifts with standards, stickers on the glass, using other people, etc.

The lone bright spot of that entire contest was the 1 or 2 second camera shot of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders walking away. That was a 10!

The format for the dunk contest is absolutely stupid. 2 dunks. Then 2 more dunks? Lame. 4 contestants that nobody cares about? Lame. They might as well do away with it. Vince Carter set the bar way too high.

They could always do away with the dunk contest and reinstate that perennial crowd-pleaser, 2ball.

Honestly, I would rather watch a competition amongst the team mascots.....those guys use trampolines, they do flips, they jump through fire, they slide down the steps on a sled, etc. That would be a much more entertaining competition.

How many more times are we going to see a guy dunk it off a high bounce? Apparently, doing that twice in one night was good enough to win this year.

I can't remember who, but one year a guy actually did a layup in the dunk contest...obviously he didn't win...but that was the worst "dunk" of all time. Tonight, Shannon Brown flirted dangerously with second-worst status. What was he trying to do with that first dunk? And when he brought out Kobe, I was expecting something...anything....instead, it was basically a garden variety alley oop.

Another funny idea that I would actually watch would be an East-West game between team owners. The Cube, Dr Buss, Larry Miller's kid, Gavin or Joe Maloof, and Paul Allen vs James Dolan, the Grousbecks, Jerry Reinsdorf, someone from Abe Pollin's family, and Micky Arison. How sweet would that be?

Answer: not sweet. Unless, of course, watching a group of individuals aged 40 to 80 play a pickup game is your idea of a great evening.

So how did Bron Bron do in the dunk contest. Surely his pronouncement last year that he was participating in the dunk contest wasn't just an attempt for him to gain the spotlight.

off topic, but who was that guy next to Kevin Durrant...wearing some HS varsity letterman's jacket? Dude look like Teen Wolf. WHat was up with that whole getup?

I'm not right all that often, but I was right about Bron Bron. I called this last year.
