I just stumbled upon this forum while searching Google for LOTOJA information. Looks like a good group of cyclists here.
I don't know why, but this ride has me very intimidated! I have been training hard, and just yesterday I completed the Tour de Park City Gran Fondo. They claim that ride is tougher, but it's a little shorter...I don't know what to believe. I do know that 60 mile climb was brutal!
So far my two major LOTOJA training rides have been the one day Seattle to Portland (204 miles and completed in 10:41), and the Tour de Park City Gran Fondo (172 miles and completed in 10:19).
I signed up for LOTOJA this year riding for the Huntsman Cancer Foundation on the Huntsman Hometown Heroes team.
Anyways...I guess I just wanted to say hi, thank you all for what seems like a great forum.
Is there anyone here who has done both LOTOJA and Tour de Park City Gran Fondo? If so, which ride do you say is more difficult? TIA
Dan
