I know #1 seeds are usually given proximate sites for the first 2 rounds, and teams who are good enough to acquire #1 seeds are successful, powerful programs.

Even knowing those things, it still impresses me that they bring so many fans to those games. If I was a fan of a #1 seed, I would save my money for the regional site and Sweet 16.

I don't know what game you were watching but it was a 3 point game with 2 minutes left. I didn't like the foul call but I think he did get him on the wrist on his follow through. All that said, I had GM in my brackets, it was a great game and I am happy.

It was 54-48 until 2 minutes left in the game. GMU scored a 3 at the 1:59 mark. So it was a 6 point game with two minutes left ... and then a 3 point game at 1:59.

The other AZ big grabbed his arm on the rebound, and then let go and held his hands up as if to say "I didn't do anything"--the sure sign that he did something. Also, I thought Williams was up so high that his elbow hit the guy's wrist before hitting the ball. One of those calls that gets bitched about if it doesn't get called, but also gets bitched about if it gets called that late in the game. Since I had Memphis winning, I'm bitching about the no-call.

There was a foul on the rebound, but it was a good no-call on the shot. If the memphis player had decided to jump more than 2 inches, or if he had pump-faked, there would have been a foul for sure.

Wow. It's a shame the Big East didn't get 13 teams in this year. They really deserve it.
