That would be one huge get for Rose.

Chapman sat by me and my girls recently at a tournament where my wife was coaching. He was very nice to my girls, and was really supportive of the team he had come to watch. When I was leaving he said goodbye to my girls, and I said I hoped the next time I saw him he'd be in Cougar blue. Surprised by the comment he said, "Do you know who I am?" I said, "Yep, and it seems like Rose's system is perfect for you. Good luck this year and making your college selection."

At the time I thought it we had zero shot.

Oh it definitely wouldn't be a priority, just something to watch if nothing else was on. BYU hoop hasn't been must see TV since Matt Montague graduated, and the opportunity to land another player of that caliber walked out the door when Jabari chose Duke.

My friend has a son on the Utah Prospects. Told me this AM brekkot is liking the U, Gonzaga, and UCLA. They were messin with his twitter to give ya all something to talk about and it worked. About Nixon, had a heck of a tourney this past weekend in cali. Made all tourney team.

It seems like they have been after Aytes for awhile and hoped he would fly under the radar more than he has. If they don't get him it will be a bigger letdown than the SLCC forward.
