RWIII visited Kentucky yesterday. Rumor is that it went poorly. That's funny.

Sounds good to me. Anyone know anything about his game? Does he play defense? Have any post moves?

What is the recipe for high level success? We could certainly do the LDS roster of years past and maybe there would be more "loyalty", but it's not enough. We need top tier players with a smattering of "culture" guys who stayOriginally posted by Green Monstah View Post
I’m sure we will. Not sure that 87.5% turnover is a recipe for success at BYU.

As long as the NIL money is available, BYU will be just fine in basketball. I hate it, but there isn't anything to worry about in Provo.Originally posted by LiveCoug View Post
They threw in the towel? Lol. Again, this is the new normal. We will rebuild every year. We will get some good players in the portal
What do people expect? Let's see, Rob Wright goes into the portal last year to get a bigger bag and then people are surprised when he, again, goes into the portal to get a bigger bag.

Worst case scenario for AJ is he goes 3rd and that isn't happening. He is the first or second pick. It would be enormously stupid for him to come back for another season at BYU. There is no benefit.Originally posted by Green Monstah View PostIf AJ is a top-5 pick (which he surely will be), I don’t see how he doesn’t go pro.

As far as transfers go, if everyone in the portal and AJ leaves, that leaves two returning players (Koz and Mboup). We lost 6 players in each of the prior two seasons to the portal/pro, and we're set to increase that number by 50% this year.
