I'm equal parts basketball and football fan, and I don't know if it's because I've been watching basketball since my Papa had season tickets to see Roger Reid's boys try to go to the toe against van horn, but nothing quite brings out my BYU anxiety like watching them play in the dance.

Like pretty much any BYU fan I suffer from NCAA tournament PTSD, so I won't feel emotionally well until we are up 20 or the final horn sounds. But intellectually, I think we are on a good path here, even if I wish we were up by 12 instead of 3.

They took their best shot pressuring. BYU was a little shaky at first but then good enough. If VCU tries that again and they will be ragged 5 minutes into the second half and it will be a bloodbath. Man its nice to go 11 deep.

Great close out of the first half. They seem to have picked up from how they were playing before the Houston game. VCU already looking tired. They appear to be working very hard to try to stay in it.
