Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."Tags: None

I rooted for Kentucky and I'm very happy for Pope. It helps that we got a very good coach (possibly an upgrade). I think it was a win-win for everyone. And I am NOT gloating about Robinson's bad performance, but I thought he was overrated or over hyped at BYU. All the talk of him being drafted...I don't watch the NBA, but I just don't see it."Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react." - Charles Swindoll

Carolina making a statement that maybe they do belong in the tournament."I think it was King Benjamin who said 'you sorry ass shitbags who have no skills that the market values also have an obligation to have the attitude that if one day you do in fact win the PowerBall Lottery that you will then impart of your substance to those without.'"

Conference performance is going to be very important this tournament. We don't need SEC bias to take over basketball as well as they have not earned it. They went a pedestrian 4-3 over their first 7 games but there was a chance for to be much worse. Kansas really screwed us by not handling Arkansas. Yale was a trendy upset pick but didn't really stay with A&M. Seven more games today. They should win at least 3 (Florida, Alabama, and Kentucky). I think Ole Miss loses to Carolina, Vandy loses to St Mary's, and Oklahoma loses to UConn. We really need Baylor to beat Mississippi State. If that all happens it would be a head to head win for the Big 12 (something Kansas blew) and put the SEC at 3-4 for the day and 7-7 overall in the first round.
Big 12 went 3-1 the first day. Again...Kansas. Would be very nice to go 3-0 today. I think we have a good chance of putting 5 of the 6 remaining teams in the Sweet 16 (I don't think Baylor can beat Duke). I expect Houston to be in the Elite 8. Can Texas Tech, Iowa State, and/or BYU join them?
