  • I think I believe. Winning games against decent teams where different players play key roles are indicators of a good team. At this point I think for BYU to make the NCAA tournament they need to win 4 more regular season games and one Big 12 tournament game for a final record of 20-13. However, I believe BYU will do a bit better than that. I think BYU wins 6 more regular season games and one in the tournament to finish 22-11 and likely get a 8-9 seed. Good rebound from where they were losing to TCU, Utah and Texas Tech at home. I think BYU wins 3 out of the 5 games of Arizona & Kansas at home and at Cincy, WVU and ASU. I think they lose, but compete well, at Arizona and Iowa State. They beat KSU, Utah and WVU all at home.

We need more time but I don't think coaching at the college level and developing players will be a problem for KY, but the biggest indicator of his long term consistent success will be his ability to retain key core players. I expect Egor to go pro and if he doesn't Dallin Hall to go into the portal-but one of those two ought to come back for next year. Boscovich is a likely loss IMO-I just think this year has likely helped him to see that the NBA is just not a likely destination for him and backing up at BYU for another year is likely not as attractive as just going home and starting a Euro pro career. I hope the rest return to run it back along with Dybantsa and Staton as freshman.

That was a fun win on Saturday and my guess is U of A gets one of Demin's best games on the year Tuesday night with the late start- "NIGHTVEAR....very nice!"

        • Just bought tickets to see ASU game in Tempe with my best friends from high school (both ASU grads). I'm excited to send these boys home with an L.

Understandable for those attending in person. This won't be much different for me than the ESPN+ games that start at 7 pm since I don't start watching those until 9:30 or so - I want to watch it as video-on-demand instead of live streaming so that I have full DVR capability of pausing, instant replay, and skipping commercials. Don't think the live stream allows for that.

Yeah, the games on ESPN+ are much harder to pause and skip around while the game is live. Even leaving it paused will cap out at like 5 minutes and then you have to rejoin live again. Totally different when watching a game on YoutubeTV where I have it set to record all BYU games, and I can pause and skip around as much as I want while the game is live. I might do the same as you and just wait until the game is completely over to start watching it.

My son leaves for work at 6:40. So we all get up at 6:00am every morning to have breakfast together, read scriptures, etc. The last home game took 2 hrs 40 mins. We could potentially get home at midnight. That won't work.

Bummer because AZ should be a great game to see live in the MC.

Yeah, for in-person attendance, 9 pm is not an ideal start time. I prefer the 7 pm tipoffs broadcast on a linear channel that I get on YouTube TV (ESPN, FOX, etc.). I typically start watching those games about 30 minutes after tipoff so that I can skip the commercials.

I am willing to make the sacrifice if you cannot use your tickets.

Sorry. I decided to try the Sell Your Tickets option on the BYU website and they sold within a couple hours.

but I will keep you in mind!

Tonight is the kind of night where slowly dying from sleep apnea really comes in handy. I feel identical (i.e. lousy) whether I get 3 hours of sleep or 10 hours of sleep. So getting to bed tonight at 1:00 am after getting home from the game and rising at 5:00 am to prepare for work meetings will work as well as skipping the game and going to bed at 10.

The change is I can't take my daughter so a friend from my ward is coming.
