Was on a mission at the time. Perhaps when Sister Diddley and I go on another mission we can make some more big waves.

I disagree. Great team but not as great as the Ainge teams of 79-80 or 80-81, or Jimmer 2011, especially before losing Davies.

I’ll hear the argument about the Ainge, Kite, Roberts, and Durant era teams. But the Jimmer team was extremely overrated.

that was my favorite byu team of all time. perhaps the most talented and well rounded byu team of all time. but they choked in the dance.

That's the best all white team - what's the best team that started a brother?

They won their first round game and had a difficult matchup with Louisville in the second round.

Pervis Ellison, Felton Spencer, Denny Crum.

Isn't that pretty much a calling card of BYU basketball? SJBH.

                        Nope.

                        Danny Ainge

                        Fred Roberts

                        Greg Kite

Frank Arnold was hard to like, but give the devil his due.

This is the BYU team I first saw play.

Had Durrant not gone on a mission, that team would really have had a lot of weapons.

                              Imagine growing up in Pocatello.

The 1986-1987 Boston Celtics had Danny Ainge, Larry Bird, Rick Carlisle, Kevin McHale, Bill Walton, Scott Wedman, Greg Kite, Jerry Sichting….and they thought they were missing something and added…Fred Roberts.
