This guy kicks total ass. Just when BYU was serving up another steamer in the tourney, this guy comes in, creates turnovers and scores 10 straight points. Only Loyd should represent BYU in One Shining Moment.

He has kept BYU in this -- the only guy who has played relaxed so far. Everybody else looks tight.Originally posted by Color Me Badd Fan View PostThis guy kicks total ass. I wonder if BYU will be better in the underdog role against K-State, assuming they can hold on and beat Florida. There will be a lot less pressure in the second round.

speaking of this, can you have a mohawk at BYU? I know your sideburns can't be too long. Are mohawks considered extreme haircuts? I would think so, at least according to the HC rules.Originally posted by mpfunk View PostIf BYU had any principles and belief in their honor code, he wouldn't be playing in the 2nd half because of his flagrant honor code violations on the floor
I remember when BYU airbrushed Araujo's tats off the cover of the media guide. I wonder if they will airbrush some hair onto Loyd's dome this week?Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Loyd put us in 2OT. He is the MAN!!!"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

I snuck out of the office to watch at a nearby casino sports book. The place was packed, and 90% of people were cheering for BYU. The casino is only a couple miles from where Loyd played his high school basketball, and there were a number of onlookers buzzing about his performance and wondering how UNLV missed out on him.Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

I'm really happy for Loyd and his family as well as happy that he saved this game for BYU.Originally posted by Donuthole View PostI snuck out of the office to watch at a nearby casino sports book. He really is a great example of a kid who has worked hard to get better despite not getting a lot of playing time. And he has made the most of his chances when he gets in there because of his great attitude and confidence.
