  • Bill Cassidy votes yes on RFK Jr. He knows better. Nothing matters anymore.
"...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Do you think it's possible for you to post without using words like "hilarious," "absurd," "canard," and "truther"? Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."
"You are an intemperate, unscientific poster who makes light of very serious matters.”

I'm sorry, man. I optimistically feel differently, but I could very well be wrong. I pray not. I know it's upsetting to you and others. Keep hope.

        • I don’t want RFK jr. as our Health Secretary as I’m sure many other people are more qualified, but it’s safe to say that with over 40% of US adults being obese, previous Health Secretarues aren’t exactly doing a great job. We could probably eliminate a significant portion of our health care costs if people weren’t so freaking fat. Maybe it’s time to try something different
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

I think vaccines are a miracle. I don't believe they cause autism. I also support body autonomy and people's right to refuse vaccinations, regardless of whether I agree or disagree with their reason.

            • I don't want RFK as our HHS Sec, because the Medicaid regulations for institutional care are already a headache without a worm-totin', roadkill-munchin', bear cub runnin' moron trying to muck things up at a time when more Americans than ever are going to be looking to Medicaid.

              • At my wife's school, some of the kids have asked her to not have to do the Pledge of Allegiance, which they do every day. They said they felt that the current government and its actions is hostile towards them.

this is a school that is:

                33.1% Hispanic/Latino

                33.1%American Indian

                17.8%White

                15.9%Two or more races

I agree but in a less dickish way.

One thing that isn't discussed, but I think should be. Especially if he's going to be health boss. RFK has to be on gear. No way he's natty at his age all lifting shirtless on Venice Beach wearing jeans. Mandatory T tests for Americans over 35.

It's their individual right not to.

That is what she told them. She said she expects them to still be respectful during that time, to either stand or sit quietly while others do it, but that she would respect their decision as to how they wanted to proceed.

Obesity is one issue. Medical care, prescriptions, food safety.
Even if I was sold on his character, I think he will approach healthcare problems like he is solving them with an abacus and not a computer. These issues aren't simple. I think a lot of this Trump administration is like that.

Do you think RFK Jr. is the right "something different" we should try? 40% of Americans are obese, have we tried thinning out the herd a little with no vaccines? Maybe a little more disease in this country would get rid of the unhealthy (read: fat) among us. And, as you point out, it should would save us a bunch of money! Might not offset the economic hit of losing all those workers, but hey, maybe its time to try something different.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

There was no "deep state." At least not in the way MAGA babbled about it, but I think they are going for that themselves. Kash Patel is a worrisome character.
