Is there anything that has a wider gap between childhood affection and adult disdain than ice cream trucks? Baloney? Madlibs? REO Speedwagon? I don't know if anything else comes close. The sound of an ice cream truck used to be one of my favorite things in the world, and now I hate it.
Baloney and Madlibs are definitely contenders. I used to love doing madlibs when I was a kid. Now I groan whenever my kids say "Dad, give me a noun".

Ice cream truck? Uh huh, yeah, sure. Looks like it's time to move, Clark. The neighborhood is headed south.

70 degrees this Sunday in D.C. Allegedly.

I visited New Orleans last weekend and it was supposed to be in the 70s - turned out to be in the 30s and wet.

well, one downside is that I spent all of last weekend doing yardwork. And will likely be doing so again this weekend....
