Find a toilet seat bidet on Amazon. They work great.

This strike is giving me the urge to watch the 2nd season of The Wire again. So many great characters like Frank and Ziggy Sobatka, Horseface, The Greek.

My parents had a sit on tub bidet in my mom's bathroom in the house they bought in 1992 (the master bedroom was a converted... something, and there was his and her bathrooms, complete with jacuzzi and separate bidet in hers). It was weird as hell, and as far as I know, it was only used a handful of times. I never went in there without thinking of that line from Crocodile Dundee: "One dunny.. one bidet. You'll figure it out."

When we bought our house, one of the upgrades I made was the bidet seat, complete with warm water tank and fan in our bathroom. The other bathrooms eventually got $30 bidet seats.

I will never live in a house without one again. Pound for pound, it's the single best quality of life improvement we've made in the house.

Dear all the Panic Buyers and Hoarders of TP:

First, y'all are stupid. TP, and most wood pulp products comes from the US and/or Canada.
Second, the strike lasted two days.

                  Enjoy your Charmin.

I have a Toto washlet. One of the nicer ones. Heated seat, heated water, sensor that automatically raises a lid when you walk up to it, etc. Life changing.

We had that in our last hotel in Shanghai. I enjoyed how the lid snapped to attention whenever I entered. My wife suspected I was enjoying the whole process more than I should have, but I assured her I remained temple-worthy, if only barely. Loved it.

Not sure I avoided the feline filets (lots of mystery meats, especially with the Sichuan hot pots) but escaped incarceration. We figured that retired septuagenarians weren't at the top of Xi's xit list. That said, it was very disturbing to see cameras EVERYWHERE. But the people were all extremely warm and welcoming. No issues at all, but lots of stories.

Thanks to Gov DeSantis calling up the Florida national and state guard, the strike is off until Jan 15th...

Then JD Vance will fire the Longshoremen and replace them all with robots with Elon Musk's help.

Nick was meh, I couldn’t even remember his first name. Beady was more memorable than him. Nick’s girlfriend was, um, memorable, but not a great character. .
