I’m sure they didn’t or at least the ones alive today didn’t.

I went to Costco today and every bit of toilet paper is wiped out. I asked an attendant what's going on and he says it's happening all over as fear of this strike. But apparently almost all toilet paper in this country is produced in the country.

I went out to dinner Monday night with two of my sisters and my mother. One of my sister's daughters (a college student in Utah) was frantically texting her during the evening asking her if she needed to go to Costco to stock up because of the strike. The four of us just looked at each other with "wtf?" expressions. I guess my niece was right after all, at least in Utah. I haven't gone to the store here to see if there is a run on anything (and am not planning on going anytime soon).

          That's funny.

They are hoarding bottled water too, which I guarantee you is produced in the US.

I was told by this same attendant that Costco has a water bottling plant (or is contracted with a plant) in North Salt Lake.

This is happening all over, of course. I saw someone talking about it in Michigan. MI has 49 water bottlers in the state.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

But maybe the raw materials are imported?

So what should I be panic-buying/hoarding?

Woodworking tools and supplies. Make your own toilet paper.

It's in these trying times that I'm grateful for my bidet.

I have looked into a bidet. Another reason to lose some weight....they don't care for people my size.

I installed one of those in the master bath... I don't know why I waited so long.
