For you guys in Nevada, Garn Mabey grew up just across the street from me, just curious what you think of him and what chance does he have to win the Republican nomination for the Senate.

For you guys in Nevada, Garn Mabey grew up just across the street from me, just curious what you think of him and what chance does he have to win the Republican nomination for the Senate.

Garn Mabey has zero chance. He has little name recognition (he was the Nevada Assembly Minority leader for a few sessions, and decided not to run for reelection in 2007. He's been out of the public eye since then). He hasn't filed an FEC campaign finance report, suggesting he hasn't raised much, if any, cash. Meanwhile, the Chief Carpetbagger, Sam Brown, has raised $5 million, with $2 million on hand at the end of March. Don't get me wrong, Sam Brown also has no shot. He couldn't beat Adam Laxalt in a Senate primary 2 years ago, he isn't likely to take down Jacky Rosen and her $13 million on hand in Blue Nevada, even when the Dem focus has to be on several other races.

Sam Brown and his associated PACs can keep sending me flyers and putting crap on my door handle. I'll keep ripping it up.
