That's how I explain my 2004 vote for John Kerry. A vote against President Bush.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Vote against Reid, Falafel, vote against Reid ....Originally posted by falafel View PostI don't know, Sue Loudon would never get my vote. I listened to a few interviews with her on the local NPR station. She was the most arrogant piece of work I've heard. Any time the interviewer (a really impartial sort of guy) brought up anything she didn't like she accused him getting his questions from the Reid camp. She actually flat out accused him of that. Numerous times. Then when he asked her to explain some of her campaign views she told him that if he wasn't going to do his research before the interview she wasn't going to help him out.
That woman gave the worst political interview I'd ever heard.
Aha!!! You have Democrat leanings. That explains everything.Originally posted by falafel View PostThat's how I explain my 2004 vote for John Kerry. A vote against President Bush.“There is a great deal of difference in believing something still, and believing it again.”

I see you've met pellegrino.Originally posted by LA Ute View PostWell, Goldwater walked right into ads like that, as scurrilous as they were. "Extremism in defensie of liberty is no vice." Yeah, right, Barry. Famous last words of a presidential candidate.
BTW, wuap, I hate to break it to you, but you are not among the audience the Angle ad tries to reach. It's for undecided independents, not long-haired hippy freak ivory tower Birkenstock-wearing academics. So no one ever expected it to persuade you.

Speaking of Sharron Angle, here's a website being advertised on CougarStats.com:

Yup. This is why Harry Reid was rubbing his hands together in anticipation of having Angle as his opponent. She's a train wreck.Originally posted by Donuthole View PostSpeaking of Sharron Angle, here's a website being advertised on CougarStats.com:

Plus, Sharon Angle's got the crazy eyes.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

I saw Scott Pilgrim the other night, and I thought it was pretty amazing that the director was able to get footage of a 20 year-old Sharron Angle and via CG cast her as the drummer in Scott Pilgrim's band.

BTW, I still think Angle is going to win. The last Rasmussen Poll had Angle up 2 and the Mason Dixon poll had Reid up 1. It's 2006, only in reverse and much more accute in the favor of the GOP. It's going to be a party turnout election more than most and the Democratic voters aren't excited to get out and vote.
She'll be a one term Senator. Just like there are going to some one term Democratic Senators that were elected in 06 and 08.Part of it is based on academic grounds.
