In the land of perpetual election season, is it ever too early to talk about the next election? I say nay.
Let's start off with the presumptive GOP frontrunner DeSantis. Yesterday he talked about the death penalty in front of a very hostile crowd, the Florida Sherrif's Association. And gosh darnit, he's complaining that it's too hard for the state to kill people. He wants a return to a supermajority for death penalties, something the SCOTUS outlawed in Florida in (I can't believe I'm saying this) 2016. MAGA, I guess.
