    Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

          The phrase that's starting to grate on me is "speaking truth to power". It's a throw-away line that people love to use when they want to sound self-important.
