Our country needs some drastic changes to survive. Unfortunately, this will cause many people to die, especially the elderly. Here are my proposals:
1. Raise the Social Security Benefits age to 80 for anyone that is currently under 60 years old. We need to work until we save enough money to retire, or are physically unable.
2. Cancel the prescription drug benefit.
3. Eliminate Medicare and Medicaid.
4. Cancel all housing assistance.
4. Release all non-violent prisoners. The prison system is way too costly.
5. Bring all of our troops home.
6. Reduce military recruiting by 75%. Our military is a big welfare program.
7. Repeal all drug laws. Enforcement is too costly with limited benefits.
8. Eliminate National Parks or charge patrons the true cost of maintaining them.
9. Flat 20% Federal Income Tax. No deductions. This will be reduced to 10% when the national debt is paid and the last of the Social Security payments have been made.
10. Eliminate food stamps and health insurance assistance.
Eliminating all government welfare would solve the immigration "problem". If someone wants to come to this country knowing there is no welfare, I say let them.
