  • Sarah Palin joins Fox News!

I sure didn't see this one coming. I figured Lou Dobbs was next. I'm proud of them. They're clearly working to provide the most fair and balanced news possible.

This is the photo they chose to run with:

I find that odd. Perhaps they are not interested in portraying her in the best possible light.

Can any topic generate more responses more quickly than Palin?

She has relevancy because so many people hate her. If we could bring ourselves to just ignore her entirely, she'd go away.

          But that will never happen.

Fox news has no shame. I feel so bad for MSNBC and their unbiased lineup. MSNBC puts out real journalists with real bona fides and Fox does this.

I hope congress does something to even up the playing field, maybe subsidize MSNBC or force people to watch them to get a tax credit.

She strikes me as someone would be viewed either as likeable because of her personality/looks and unconventional approach to politics, or forgettable because she doesn't represent a serious option as a presidential candidate.

But I don't understand the Palin hate. Truly bizarre.

She's a successful person (financially) who believes there is no shame in being a mom. Thus the hate.

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Is this really why you think she's hated? Nothing to do with her ignorance or incompetence during the presidential election? At this point I feel only pity for anyone who wants to listen to her, but during the election I really did hate her, or at least what she represented.

She didn't graduate from an elite college. She talks with a hillbilly dialect. She is overtly Christian. She doesn't seem to understand "the game". Katie Couric doesn't like her. I am sure there is a lot more.

Why? I can understand why people don't take her seriously, but what in the world has she done/said that could generate hatred of her?

Yet you offer no real reasons for hating Palin.

you guys are cracking me up. She's hated because she *doesn't* understand the game? On the contrary, she understands the game as well as anyone out there.

No, he's right. Most people agree being a mom is very shameful. The nerve of her!
