Does this make sense?

Sister goes to get her kids immunized. Doctor tells her that she can't get the immunization because it's currently limited to medicaid or self pay patients. She offers to self pay. Doctor says he can't give it to her because she has insurance.

Didn't make sense to me. Can someone clarify. She lives in Utah.

BTW.......I had H1N1 thanks to 3 patients I interacted with. Tamiflu did the trick.
