  • 7.38 tonight: 4 run the rest at a brisk walk total time 1:31. That includes 4 min for doggie pitstops

I may be small, but I'm slow.

Well, it looks like the runners bad karma has struck. Killed my right foot yesterday, a chair in the kitchen decided to kick me. Why are you runners putting the hex on me? If I can't bike or run for a couple of days I'll just count my miles from Monday & Tuesday O.K? That's fair right? After all it was the runners curse that did this right? lol

I did a 7 miler today. My son had a track meet so I ran over to it and met my wife. Hot. (The weather and my wife).

              • 10.5 this morning. First run this week that was in the cool of the morning and on a decent night's sleep. Both of those things make a big difference. http://connect.garmin.com/activity/9082731

                • Oh, it is ON!!!

33.8 miles this morning. I was going to do about 20 but I decided that my team deserved a better effort.

                  • The missus and I arose early to avoid the heat and racked up 44+ cycling miles as we prep for Tahoe. The woman is a beast.

And speaking of beasts, I note that Archaea logged a century today. Blessing and honor, glory and power be unto him.

I hate you right now. During my ride this morning, I couldn't stop thinking about bacon for breakfast. Pissed about the 4:1 ratio, I laced up the running shoes when I came home and headed over to the grocery store to buy a package.

90 degrees (isn't that about what you run in?), 2.28 miles, 11:53 average, and average heart rate of 175. Oh, and I really need to find a route to the grocery store that has some shade. My face hasn't been that red after a run since junior high cross country.

                      • I just read through this thread and realized people were counting distance on machines. Had I known, I would have thrown my hat into the ring to help out. I hit the machine every day but Sunday.

I guess I will jump in during the Winter competition.

We should also count distance paddled. I think I would win that one, in general.

Back peddling with your wife because you forgot your anniversary should only count half as much.
