The last thing you want to add to an infection is the human papillomavirus!

We are transporting enough water for a week but only staying 3 days. I've been sick on 3 separate trips to Mexico so I am well-aware of the risks (Mexico City after eating from a street vendor, Acapulco after drinking the water, and Ensenada after stepping foot in the city .

    One more article:

The bottom line is that while medical tourism may work great for some health problems, bariatric surgery is probably not one of them.
    Yikes.

Man, I got the coolest poncho at Teotihuacan. I still have it. I think I paid $4. I especially loved the guy who sold it to me. Kept calling to me "eh gordo, ven pa' ca". I couldn't resist.

Hey I got me a good root canal in Mexico. Believe me, it was a mere fraction of what I would have paid at a regular dentist's office.

Of course it's just calories in minus calories out that will determine weightloss. But some people (me) don't have the discipline to count calories. Whole 30 helped me because I didn't need to strictly count calories because the stuff I was allowed to eat filled me up and wouldn't put me in a positive calorie position for the day...especially when coupled with exercise. I have no illusion that Whole 30 is a permanent lifestyle change for me. I've already gone back to normal foods. But maintaining is far easier than losing obviously.
