I am back to playing to somewhere between a 16-18. After shooting my all time low I followed it up with a few rounds in the 90's. I was talked into playing in our city amateur but had to play to a 10. I came in dead ass last carding a 97/106 over 2 days.

He is a horrible human being and the world is better off without him.

Hey, it was the heat of battle and I couldn't resist. After he got done laughing, Mark said that ESPN ripped on him during the game, but when replay analysis later showed the Dixon had, in fact, blown his whistle and Bigelow had committed no foul, ESPN's announcers at the next game apologized to him at great length, almost as if he was going to sue them for defamation. He just laughs it off now.

BTW, this from the Wikipedia entry on Lonnie Dixon:

Dixon was suspended by the Mountain West Conference in February 2004 for "inadvertently" blowing his whistle during a BYU/New Mexico basketball game, but did not admit to it during the game. The whistle caused BYU player Mark Bigelow to believe play was stopped and stepped on the court from the bench. Bigelow was called for a technical foul, and New Mexico eventually beat BYU 65-63. Dixon was not allowed to call his next 2 games, as well as the Mountain West Conference Tournament.
Dixon died four years ago, btw.

I played with Tick at Hobble Creek on Friday. He played well. I didn't.

    It rained the entire time.
