  • Digital Deity

This thread is for digital bibles and scripture and interactive church magazines and Mormon messages etc.

Yesterday in Sunday School I had a short scripture chase between those with digital scriptures and the old school folk with paper scriptures. I was curious to see who was faster. The old school scriptures won.

Yeah, but I don't have to lick my fingers using the digital version.

One way to speed up your LDS digital scripture chase is to create separate windows for each standard work. That saves at least two levels of drilling down into the contents.

Did you ask them easy books? Ask them to look for some scriptures from the old testament using at least one or two obscure books. I bet the digital wins.

I open the scriptures and the lesson manual, and flip back and forth quicker than the guys that have hard copies.

Katy, I thought this was going to be a thread on the technical tools of God. I was looking for further light and knowledge.

Good old days of scripture chase. I don't remember exactly how we did it, but we were insanely fast. No way you could compete with a scripture app.

Can you imagine the first teacher who invented the scripture chase method. :histhoughtbubble: "Hey, the kids enjoyed that. I might be really on to something."

I remember one tactic was to wrinkle the page with the mastery scripture then flatten it out. It was enough to make sure that the book was falling open to the right pages...
