I would edit "believe" to "intend to participate in a meaningful and positive way" (certainly there are a range of beliefs among the active) but otherwise agree. Complete dick move.

Interestingly, he is claiming that this episode has caused traffic on his site to increase tenfold. As I said before, this seems to be one of those cases where moving to ex him seems justified.
