I'm just going to quote it as "according to a press release from August 29, 2012.""Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. His actions are supposed to reflect his ethical code.

My wife can't break away from her Central American roots and needs her coffee fix a couple of times a week. She always tells them during her TR interviews and they always sign it. It may be one of those rules where middle management knows it doesn't make sense but upper management holds on to it because that's the way it's been for a 100 years.

It's hilarious that the revision was made to a news release titled "Getting it Right"! It should be revised to "Getting it Right...Eventually""...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Do you think it's possible for you to post without using words like "hilarious," "absurd," "canard," and "truther"? Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."

Speaking of Central American roots, I have a daughter-in-law who is further south and has South American roots. Peru to be specific.Originally posted by RC Vikings View PostMy wife can't break away from her Central American roots and needs her coffee fix a couple of times a week. She is a wonderful DIL, wife and mother, although quite fiery. She and her family were converted when she was a teenager, but went inactive while here in the good ole USA.
Her roots also have a need for coffee, but also no sense of guilt in wearing a short skirt or heaven forbid a Bikini. She took some heat from some sisters in the ward and hasn't been to church since.
Is she odd or is the South American culture not so hung up on bare belly's?

Mixed messages. Shocking.Originally posted by Northwestcoug View PostI guess the church won't be publishing any more articles like these:

I think it still does the job. This is all that mattered, and it's still there:Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostExactly. The new version is so wishy washy as to be practically meaningless.
Finally, another small correction: Despite what was reported, the Church does not prohibit the use of caffeine.

I am of the opinion that it is the temperature of the caffeine that is the deal breaker. Caffeine served cold is fine. Caffeine served hot is not. Who the heck wants to drink hot tea in Texas anyway?Originally posted by RC Vikings View PostMy wife can't break away from her Central American roots and needs her coffee fix a couple of times a week. Indeed. Too bad the church doesn't agree with you, since cold tea can still get you in hot water.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View PostI am of the opinion that it is the temperature of the caffeine that is the deal breaker.
