I'm guessing not. Many of the temples that have been announced haven't even had ground broken yet. Or even had ground designated as Moliere mentioned. i think some time to catch up is needed.

A friend's wife works for the temple department, and is involved in design and furnishings. With the tariffs, costs have skyrocketed. high end fabric and wood are imported. The Temple division in the past has had almost unlimited funds to work with, but the purse strings seem to be tightening. A senior church official recently asked why we can't just by furnishings from RCWIlley. (Maybe the 90 days same-as-cash savings looked appealing?) But the church uses high-end furniture, carpet and fabric to hold up to the wear and tear of almost daily use by hundreds of people. RCWilley furniture would be worn or fall apart after 3 months.

I see patrons every week who are obviously retired, but have facial hair. I am not trying to steady the ark, but I am also not passing judgment on those who won't be temple workers because they love their facial hair more than I loved mine. I have actually had thoughts about quitting just to grow the mustache back. Humans are vain animals. I mean, Pres. Nelson held onto a combover forever.

I’d be shocked if they struggle to find enough workers in Rexburg. The current temple is half staffed by students and I suspect there are many more willing to work there.
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

I'd send you a text if I had your number—can't believe you are all giving Steel love but not NWC. I know he now lives among the godless northern commies, but com'on

When I went to the Rexburg Temple in June for an evening session it felt that the percentage of student-age staffers was higher than 50%. After the session we went to the Freddy's down the road for some burgers and ended up had this conversation with the dude taking my order:

Me: I'll have a burger and fries and a drink
Burger dude: Did you have a temple date tonight?
            Me: Umm, yeah.
Burger dude: Oh, what ordinance did you do?
Me: Uhh, we did an endowment session
Burger dude: That's great. It's been a while since I've been to the temple. I really should go more often. Your order number is 571 and we'll call you when it's ready.

I walked over to the soda machine thinking, "Only in Rexburg..."

I had a similar conversation at the Mo Bettahs in PG not to long ago.
