  • April 2025 General Conference

Conference thus far for me hasn’t been unusually remarkable to this point, but Tamara Runia’s address changed that, A truly excellent address.

Tammy is a good friend. She is great.

Yes, that was beautiful--a continuation of her message from the First Presidency Christmas Devotional.

        Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Shumway's story about serving and meeting his wife was odd to me. SJBH.

That said he ended well. How did he say it? A culture of performance vs. the doctrine of perfection. That was great.

Let her know if she returns to her roots (the 680 corridor) there is a large congregation of youth that would love to have her come speak, although I'd guess that's true pretty much everywhere in the world.

I was about 6 when 680 was built just on the other side of our cul-de-sac in SJ.

The day i got my permit I drove through the old 680/24 interchange. I am not sure how my mom didn't have a heart attack.

I'm kind of glad I didn't learn to drive in CA. We were in PG by that time.

Spanish Fork Temple! Finally Utah County getting some temple love.
Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock
