    • Looks like I'll be in Utah county next Monday (Sep 23). Anyone interested in getting lunch even though it's during the workday?

              Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I am game. A bit of a road trip, but it's still great bike weather.

                    • IMG_3935.jpegHad Yak Momo yesterday at the base of the Potala Palace. Tasty but experienced a yak stampede at 3 a.m. Now about to dine on yak pot stickers, a triumph of hope over experience.

                        • When I went to the Potala Palace it was freezing cold in winter. The smell of yak butter butter burning in lamps, coupled with the smell of burning incense, was nauseating. Tibetans also rubbed yak butter on their faces to prevent chapping.
