This thread has fizzled out. I attribute that to the lack of any real excitement for Black Ops. I suspect it will pick up in a year when the boys from IW introduce the new SOP of 1st person shooters.

I got online last night and no one else was online. I tried to play a game but quickly was bored without playing with people I know.

I'm not very optimistic about the next IW game. The entire studio is in shambles and everyone important from the studio moved on to respawn entertainment. I'll definitely give the next COD a shot (unlike some people with blops) but I don't expect it to be as good as mw2 or blops. I am however very excited to see what comes out of respawn entertainment.

I haven't been playing this week because of final exams and a cold I have. I should be on tonight, since I will essentially be done with grading until my last final on Monday.

You will note that I said "when the boys from IW...". I did not say, "when IW..." I am fully aware of the issues that IW is having.

Actually we were in the middle of planning this when we got the memo and they told us to continue with the planning. We were told this was the last thing we would be doing. Thank goodness.
