I was in tears during the opening credits. You made me laugh just by bringing that up.

in that same vein this clip from waiting for Guffman always cracks me up. especially the old guy doing the scene from Raging Bull. IMHO that is pure comedy. NSFW but its is funny

I actually don't get all of the love for Office Space. I thought that the first 30-40 minutes were very funny and then it went down hill fast from there.

I generally don't like to watch movies more than once, but one show I have watched with our kids dozens of times is How the Grinch Stole Christmas with Jim Carrey. I laugh all the way through, it is great.

O Brother Where Art Thou is, IMO, the most perfectly written, directed, cast and acted comedy of all time.

The Holy Grail is a monument of comedic genius.

Life of Brian is close behind.

Spinal Tap created a new genre and all of the spinoffs were just about as good (Mighty Wind, Best in Show, Waiting for Guffman).

Fletch still kills me and makes me hurt for the Chevy Chase that ceased to be after that.

                    Groundhog Day was brilliant.

                    The Hangover isn't far behind.

A dark horse favorite of mine is Mamet's State & Main.

                    Caddyshack was great.

                    Bowfinger is underrated.

The Big Lebowski will live forever.

The Princess Bride deserves some mention.

                    Raising Arizona as well.

There are a lot of great comedies out there that don't get quite the attention.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Borat is hilarious, disturbing, but hilarious. I cannot imagine the courage/stupidity it takes to pull off half the stunts he did.

My favorite though would be Superbad, best movie to watch drunk...ever. Napoleon Dynamite is a pretty close second.

After reading a lot of the responses I gotta agree with most posted. So a few more of my favorites:
                          The Russians are Coming!
                          The Invention of Lying
...a bunch of others already mentioned

                            A couple that I love:

Waiting for Guffman. This is easily my favorite Christopher Guest movie.
                            Big Lebowski
Pulp Fiction is actually brilliant and hilarious.
Of all the Wes Anderson movies, I find Bottle Rocket to be the funniest.
                            Happy Texas
                            Little Miss Sunshine

And my all time favorite funny movie, goes to:

                            [Drum roll]

                            American Movie.
I told him he was a goddamn Nazi Stormtrooper.

Far from. It's a documentary about this guy trying to make a low budget horror film. If this were my life, I certainly wouldn't be laughing. But it isn't.
