I don't want to give anything away. It was the first time I rolled my eyes at the plot. Hopefully they are able to tidy things up some. It was a little to out there for me.

And I did enjoy the SNL sketch. It had me laugh last night when people were actually eavesdropping.
Are you talking about the end where one of the characters all of a sudden turned into Chris Matthews thinking about Barack Obama.

Of course you remained stoic. What else would Grantham do?

Did you see the touching scene between PAC and myslef, er, I mean Lord Grantham and Bates? The fulcrum upon which the entire show seems to be turning.

Excellent! Bates is the coolest guy on the show, and his fashion sense is spot on. You're hired.

But I read about the upcoming Season 2 premiere tomorrow night and decided to watch it. I asked my wife if she had seen it, and it turns out while I was in Provo yesterday she had watched all seven episodes of Season 1 and absolutely loved them. Moreover, all my daughters, including PH's wife, have been totally into it, and I can see why. I was informed I HAD to watch Season 1 before beginning Season 2, so....

Great storyline, excellent dialogue and a fascinating time in history. I've seen the first three episodes of Season 1 already and hope to finish the season by the end of the day tomorrow, at which point I can begin Season 2. Great stuff.

And I intend to start looking for a valet on Monday.

I enjoy the series very much, and this send-up is great. I especially like when everyone does their "looks", which really do play a big part of the show.

How were you able to watch Season 2? Is it available online, or do you hop across the Pond to watch the telly?

Matthew Crawley, not to be confused with another nobleman we know with a near identical name.

I'm glad I pulled all of you away from Storage Wars and Swamp Loggers, at least temporarily.
