These are random thoughts, not random deep thoughts, you plagiarist!Originally posted by JohnnyLingo View PostOne thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my little nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. "Oh, no," I said. "Disneyland burned down." He cried and cried, but I think that deep down, he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting pretty late.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Your taste buds are faulty. They are still just as good.Originally posted by wuapinmon View PostI got some Zots the other day when I went to Cracker Barrel with my grandpa. They're good, but not as good as I remember them to be.
Btw, I've been looking for zotz for years. I didn't know they were hiding them at the Cracker Barrell. I guess I'll never get my hands on them.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

ma⋅jus⋅cule /məˈdʒʌskyul, ˈmædʒəˌskyul/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [muh-juhs-kyool, maj-uh-skyool] Show IPA
Use majuscule in a Sentence
–adjective 1. (of letters) capital.
2. large, as either capital or uncial letters.
3. written in such letters (opposed to minuscule ).
–noun 4. a majuscule letter.
A curelom is an animal mentioned, together with the cumom, in the text of the Book of Mormon:
And they also had horses, and asses, and there were elephants and cureloms and cumoms; all of which were useful unto man, and more especially the elephants and cureloms and cumoms. ()
According to Latter-day Saint belief, Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon from an ancient language. In this line of thinking, the words curelom and cumom were transliterated instead of translated, meaning that while the ancient word is roughly transmitted, the actual animal intended is ambiguous. The context may imply beasts of burden. Some Mormons have speculated about what the terms refer to, including:
Mastodons or mammoths. Early Mormon apostle Orson Pratt identified cureloms as mammoths in the Journal of Discourses (12:339-340).
An as yet undiscovered, probably extinct species.
Some other South/Central American animal species with which Smith was unfamiliar such as the llama, alpaca, tapir, jaguar, or monkey. For a Mormon view on the possibility of renaming animals in the Book of Mormon, see this article on fairlds.org
Another theory, although little known, theorizes that one of the creatures may be some sort of American buffalo.
Hmmmmm. Interesting. Learned something today.

I'm disturbed by the one chick in the back who doesn't have legs. Is this an amputee peep show or what?Originally posted by Fiyero View Post
