I had seen her get out of the car when I pulled up. She mentioned she had to work today. I didn't care enough to inquire further.

1) How far away does your brother live
2) What tf was your SIL doing outside at 5am in the winter?

i thought it might be that he was calling and texting his brother so she was waiting for him. but even if that's the case it's funny that the wife went out to meet him and not the brother.
