A contemporary (Randy Cook) won an Oscar for visual effects with Lord of the Rings, and another classmate became Miss California, despite being a band geek. I was not our valedictorian, but I gave the commencement speech at graduation. I lived in Kevin's stake. He was semi-active. His cousin Larry, who's a mid-level exec is probably the most active of all of them.
