  • The Glorious Blog of the Democratic People's Republic of North Korea

Fascinating blog with many different and glorious posts celebrating the bravery, courage and broadmindedness of their beloved leader Kim Jong Il and the immortal Kim Il Sung. It's also worth taking a look at the Official Webpage of the Democratic People's Republic of North Korea.

I particularly enjoyed this little tidbit:

Kim Jong Il is also widely known to the world for his generosity.

In October 2000 he met with Madeleine Albright, the then State Secretary of the United States which has been hostile to the DPRK, and gave impromptu and clear-cut answers to all the matters of her concern, including the missile issue of the DPRK, a great concern of the US. She was moved to admiration for his magnanimity of handling an issue in a big way, his clear-cut analyzing ability and generosity of attentively listening to his counterpart to the end.

He even met with Japanese Prime Minister Koizumi two times and solved on the spot all problems he presented. The Korean people regard Japan as their sworn enemy as it invaded their country in the past and has not redressed its sinful past up to now, far from making reparation for it.

In August 2009, former US President Bill Clinton visited Pyongyang, which led to the release of two American women journalists who had intruded into the DPRK and committed hostile acts against it. Through the event the international community witnessed more clearly how broadminded Kim Jong Il is. He had an open-minded discussion with Clinton on some issues for relieving the acute relationship between the DPRK and the US and issued on the spot an order of granting a special pardon to the American journalists. They expressed their heartfelt gratitude to his magnanimous measure.

Kim Jong Il is, indeed, a broadminded statesman that moves all people. It is not fortuitous that many people around the world say the land of Korea is too small for his great personality.

In addition to propaganda, it appears that they have an eye for design. Dark gray text with a black background. Yikes.

Why can't all leaders solve geopolitical problems "on the spot?"

I was hoping to leave them a message.

It's impossible for me to think about NK/Kim Jong Il anymore without this popping into my head.

Now KJI is setting world fashion trends! Is there anything this guy can't do?

Uriminzokkiri, quoting an article in communist party newspaper Rodong Sinmun, said the modest-looking suits have gripped people's imagination and become a global vogue.

"The reason is that the august image of the Great General, who is always wearing the modest suit while working, leaves a deep impression on people's mind in the world," it said.

"To sum it up, that is because his image as a great man is so outstanding."

I'm surprised there is no mention of his stylish shades.

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. Whoever is trying to screw with their currency, STOP. It's not the perfect business you think it is.

Recently we have revalued the currency of the country (WON) to achieve greater parity towards the Dollar and Euro, to assure the equality in the society and to avoid the external falsifications. In the past several criminal Mafias (example in Italy) were arrested because tried to copy the old WON thanks to its low security. Later they sold the fake notes to businessmen who thought that they could change it in the Central Bank of Pyongyang into Euros. The ignorant poor man thought ‘perfect business’ : I buy at a low price one million of won and then change it by its real value 10 times higher. The problem is that it is not possible to change from WON to Euro and much less if you are a foreigner. The past year I took care of more than 30 requests of that type from people who had been cheated.

I just want to know if the dude gives golf lessons.

He once had 11 holes in one in a single round of golf?

Does this guy realize what Tiger get's paid in winnings and endorsements? He could seriously finance a huge percentage of his country's budget on his golf skillz alone!
