We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Who gives a shit that OSU won the Big 10? They got their asses kicked twice.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

yep, when you lose two games by more than two TDs, the fact you won your conference championship shouldn't matter. as a general rule they shouldn't matter. if TCU would have beat Oklahoma, it wouldn't have mattered there either.
The PAC conference championship didn't matter yet nobody is crying over that one.I'm like LeBron James.

I do feel like the committee has basically said conference championships don't matter and has also given teams like Alabama the go-ahead to schedule zero non-conference road games and play 8 home games a year. I don't like those messages.
