    Any recommendations?
I saw MJ One and it was awesome.

My fav 'Cirque' show is Le Reve.

Any concerts while you are in town?

My wife don't like the same music, so finding a concert we both would enjoy is tough.

MJ One looks fantastic, but I've heard such good things about Le Reve, I want to see that for our Cirque night. I'm thinking we'll check out Blue Man for the other show.

Is really that much of a discount to buy tickets from those places on the strip? Going from memory it seems I can get a better deal at www.bestofvegas.com; plus I have the added benefit of avoiding the strip and the porn-passing-oopma-loompas.

Tix for tonight is pretty weak. Call the box office they will match or give you a better deal. I have seem Ka, La Reve and Mystere. I saw the MJ one in salt lake not sure if its the same but it was cool. Mystere was by far my favorite.

I'm always amazed that I can be walking down the strip with my wife and they will still try and hand you those cards. i know almost anything goes in Vegas but how many couples hire a hooker?

I, too, have heard great things about La Reve. I have a friend that has seen all of the big/popular shows in Vegas. Some many times. He highly recommended La Reve. His favorite is Absinthe. He's seen both a half dozen times.

The most optimal method to use for your inquiry would be to use the CS Poll Feature and gather quantitative data. Or was that a rhetorical question?

MJ and I have the opportunity to take a quick vacation while my mom is in town later this year. We were thinking of just driving to the hill country but most of the stuff we'd do out there would be more fun with kids. So I'm trying to figure out where we can go that is quick and easy to get to and would be fun and a new experience. We've never really been to Vegas...I mean we've been there for bowl games and I frequented it as a kid, but we've never been there for vacay. So I'm looking into stuff to do to see if it's worth it. We've got basically two or three days and we'd fly out on a Friday morning or afternoon and fly back Sunday or possibly Monday morning.

Any recommendations for the following (keeping in mind MJ gets offended at prolonged profanity)?
                  - Hotels
                  - Restaurants
                  - Shows
                  - Sunday activities...this one will be tough. We don't usually hit church on vacay and MJ was okay doing a Normandy tour on Sunday back on the France trip. Maybe a drive to the south rim of the grand canyon? It's far but I don't think she's ever seen it.

If she is offended at prolonged profanity and you are forcing guys to shave during intramurals, I would avoid Vegas altogether. Have you thought about Nauvoo?

Vegas is easy. Lots of good hotel options (I like the pallazzo or venetian if I'm staying there for vacation; off strip if for work). Just pick one that seems like a good deal. There are always a few clean show options; most (but not all) of the Cirque de Soleil stuff is fine and usually entertaining. Lots of good restauarants. Breakfast buffet at the place in the back of ceasars; The french Bistro place upstairs in the Venetian, etc. Its easy to find decent places there. So just go without too much of a plan and enjoy. I think a weekend on the strip is about right. ANy longer and it gets old fast.
                          PLesa excuse the tpyos.
