  • Who rocks a Rolex?

I'm sure we have a couple here who do....

Im a huge watch guy, love them. With the advent of the cell phone, only the refined wear a time piece.

Who are the refined and what do you have?

If I can figure out how to post pictures I'll show mine, show yours!

I thought I did, until someone explained to me that it was a knock off

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

      Did you pay Rolex prices?

Because of the watch 'gray market' I would never buy a high priced watch online.

I rock a Citizen. Paid $125 for it... That's the most I have ever spent on a watch.
What's to explain? It's a bunch of people, most of whom you've never met, who are just as likely to be homicidal maniacs as they are to be normal everyday people, with whom you share the minutiae of your everyday life. It's totally normal, and everyone would understand.

              Citizen makes a great watch.

              I'm enjoying their Signature series.

              Eco-Drive is great as well.

I rock an Armitron with a calculator on it. It's very old school and hip.

no, I think I got it as a gift from my grandma. I can't remember, it was a long time ago.

                        I don't always wear a watch, but when I do, I prefer Citizen Eco-Drive.

Actually, my wrists are generally as naked as Soup's feet. But I picked up a citizen some years back in Tokyo that I quite liked.

i'm disappointed that there aren't any comments re: rockwell. i actually hate them, and wear a citizen nighthawk:

I have watch envy too but I've never paid more than $100 for one. About 4 years ago I came very close to spending ~$2K on a Tag but talked myself out of it.

We had a CG thread on watches. You might get a kick out of it.
