I don't know what the deal is but it is forecasted to get down to 53 tonight here in North Texas. Tomorrow's high is 75. Texas football weather has arrived.

We almost hit 100 in Los Angeles today, which is really weird. More of the same tomorrow.

I have a good buddy from Houston. He told me that they have "purple" days (worse than the usually dire "red days") in the summer where the humidity/pollution are so bad that people with respiratory conditions are advised to stay indoors.

It sounds brutal. On the other hand, he gave me a bottle of BBQ sauce from Rudy's that's about as close to liquid gold as I've ever had in the fridge.

LOL. No, marsupial keeps that stuff locked up tighter than the gold in Fort Knox. I can't get ahold of any of that.

Huh, I've never heard of "purple" days here. The pollution isn't that bad for a city this size - better than LA, anyway.

I only use Rudy's (will sometimes modify). Their meat is phenomenal as well. Unfortunately, their sides suck (with the exception of the chocolate pudding).

Better than Phoenix as well. Probably mostly a combination of heat/humidity. The breezes from the gulf take care of the smog (no mountains to trap it in like Cali).
