I heard at my daughter's softball game that Oregon verbal commit Seth Green, a 4-star QB from Woodbury, Minnesota is moving to Allen, Texas for his senior year. Also mentioned was that his personal QB coach will be Kevin Murray. Allen HS starting QB, Kyler Murray, is graduating this spring and will either play at Texas A&M or begin a career in MLB. Kyler is the son of Kevin Murray, the 2014 Gatorade Player of the Year, and never lost a game in his three years as starting QB while leading Allen to three straight state titles in Texas' largest football classification.Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostMakes me feel better about 2015 being able to be a good year and maybe win the conf again. Makes me nervous that post Marcus it appears to be a big swing and miss on QB recruiting, hopefully Waller changes that.
I mention Kevin and Kyler Murray because Kevin Murray may become Seth Green's personal QB coach and I attribute much of Kyler's ability and development to his father's coaching. Not sure how much improvement can be expected in one year but Green will have excellent HS coaching and run an offense similar to what he will be expected to run in Eugene. Green will also be surrounded by some pretty good talent as well as compete against some of the best talent anywhere in the country. Interested in this story since Allen is where my kids attend HS and Green might be Oregon's starting QB in 2017 (his Soph year) when Nebraska travels to Eugune. Oregon and Nebraska also play in Lincoln in 2016 but Green would be a true Freshman.
Here's a link from a Minnesota newspaper that mentions that Seth Green might be moving to Texas.

I'm not sure how that works, but that is impressive in any case.Originally posted by Paperback Writer View PostAllen HS starting QB, Kyler Murray, is graduating this spring and will either play at Texas A&M or begin a career in MLB. So what does the program have coming through the pipeline? Are they looking to bring in a JC QB?Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostVernon has been showing what maybe could've been but for a broken finger. Today he got the Marcus stat, more TDs than incompletions.
Pretty pathetic how bad the other QBs looked.

The guy that likely would've been the starter Travis Jonsen née Waller, redshirted once Adams passed math 110. 3 QBs in this class already committed and allegedly leading for a top JC guy.Originally posted by USUC View PostSo what does the program have coming through the pipeline? I watched QB Seth Green come off the bench and rush for a long TD and throw for another TD to lead Allen HS (Texas) past DeSoto in the Class 6-A playoffs at AT&T/Cowboy Stadium. I followed QB Terry Wilson of Del City, OK until he decommitted from Nebraska. Both QBs look like good college prospects but are probably a little ways back in the Oregon QB pipeline.Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostThe guy that likely would've been the starter Travis Jonsen née Waller, redshirted once Adams passed math 110. 3 QBs in this class already committed and allegedly leading for a top JC guy.“Not the victory but the action.
