    LOL.

When you're opening for a puppet show, you're at the bottom of the touring circuit.

Hoosiers. As long as I’m not a rotation guy on the team, I’m golden. But if I am a rotation guy, coach might kill me- because if I’m open, I’m taking the shot, five passes be damned.

Onward. I'm fine; I miss my brother and dad. But I feel good at the end like I do with every Pixar movie.

          The Death of Stalin.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

I'll probably watch that again (a third time) in the coming days. Love it.

Love that movie. Back when I was a teenager and the church still did churchball, our advisor/coach would always make us pass the ball at least four times. He learned that offense by watching Hoosiers...and that was the offense...pass the ball at least four times. We were pretty bad at passing so more often then not we'd turn it over on a bad pass.

I’ve been actually thinking about this movie a lot over the last couple of weeks. IMO Hoosiers is In a coin flip with Top Gun for the most overrated movie of my lifetime.

Now you will never be invited by Mrs. NWC to watch a movie between the two of us.

Sands of Iwo Jima. I am probably one of those bodies they pass on the way up the mountain. Interesting story. My grandfather (a Navy Carpenter attached to a Marine unit) was stepping onto the gangplank to board a ship to Iwo Jima when an NCO pulled him out and put another kid in line. Said that having 3 kids back home got him a pass on the first wave. My dad was his first kid after the war, so I guess I may owe my existence to that NCO.

I love and support my brothers and sisters who enjoy these films, of course provided that I am not required to view them.

That would be horrible to be trapped in a Cosmopolitan magazine.
