I could claim that it's not her hair, it's a headdress, and I'm not sure if it's blue/black or gold/white...

I'm hesitant to make a change to monetizing a hobby. I'm honored that you chose something I produced.Last edited by tooblue; 05-16-2018, 12:16 PM.

You obviously have an account because that's where your site directed me in order to place my order :-) I could've downloaded it and printed it myself at my college, but I don't like our large format giclee printer and hate the paper we print on. It didn't cost me any more to order it than to take it someplace locally to get it printed. The print I received is an actual photographic print, which I am pleased with: details are crisp and the image looks great.
It will be interesting to see what happens in the future with Flickr.
How big did you print and what options did you select? I printed several at 8x12, glossy and metallic just to see what the results were relative to Costco. They aren't much more expensive than a Costco print, and higher quality. I believe the default SmugMug provider is EZprints based in Norcross, GA. Anything 13 x 19 or less I print at home on a Canon PRO-100 (which is essentially free when you buy a Canon camera bundle). At the next higher tier I can select other additional print houses to be used.

I can keep you from downloading higher resolution files if you just directly browse from the main page, which is what I feared had happened. I have multiple unique links that allow access to higher resolution files for specific people/purpose. Anytime I link in this forum I use galleries that grant access to download any resolution file for anyone with a direct link. Flickr doesn't give me that kind of control and having it is worth the cost right now. If I thought I could sell enough prints to justify the next tier (where I get a cut) I would, but I wouldn't do that for photos here.

"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf
